    However, in short, the idea is that eating 30 different plants a week will boost the diversity and health of your gut microbiome. Which in turn, can bring a variety of other health benefits.

  • What counts as a plant?

    Luckily its not just fruits and vegetables that count - herbs, spices, even drinks like coffee can count towards your total. However one of my main goals with Thirty Plants was that it should not be overly opinionated and allow people to use the app in whatever way they like. So don't worry about the rules, just do whatever works for you and most importantly provides the encouragement you need to eat a more diverse diet.
